Faced with the stark reality of a structural deficit that is beginning to strain the city’s ability to pay for its most critical operating and facility needs, the Camas City Council is considering various revenue-building options, including a possible 3% tax on the city’s utilities.
The city of Washougal is exploring the possibility of entering into a sister-city relationship with Zielonki, a small town in southern Poland.
Camas School District: The Camas School Board will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the Dennison Board Room of the Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas.
