The holiday season may look a little different this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the cancellation of events like Camas’ traditional Hometown Holidays and Washougal’s Lighted Christmas Parade, but there are still plenty of season’s greetings to be found in the cities’ downtown shopping districts.
Washingtonians have a chance to help brighten the holidays this year for the more than 8,000 children and teens in the state’s foster care system.

A magical soccer season continues in Camas. The boys in the white and black defeated the Skyline Spartans in a shootout Tuesday, at Doc Harris Stadium. Once again, the Papermakers are one victory away from playing in the Final Four. Nate Beasley, Austin Cassity, Calvin Goon, Sam Pizot and Cayne Cardwell delivered goals in the shootout for Camas. Skyline answered the bell four times, but Papermaker goalkeeper Sharif Batroukh denied the Spartans on their fifth and final attempt and the victory belonged to Camas.
