Book fair set at Hathaway

A scholastic book fair is taking place at Hathaway Elementary School library, 630 24th St., Washougal, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. A variety of books and small gift items will be available for purchase.

CHS library raising money for materials

The Camas High School library is sponsoring a “Funds 4 Books,” drive through Friday, Nov. 5. For every $15 donated, a new book will be purchased for the library. According to organizers, 100 percent of every donation goes to purchase materials.

To donate, browse Funds4Books.com, enter code 9ee6 and view the library’s web page.

From there, a donation can be made and those who donate can look at fundraising details.

National Honor Society sponsors race

The Camas High School National Honor Society will host a “Romp Around Round Lake,” run at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Lacamas Park in Camas.

The 3-mile race will cost $5 per adult and $3 for those ages 12 years and younger. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital.

Donations are also accepted. Lacamas Park is located at Everett Street and Lake Road in Camas.

Jemtegaard hosts book fair

Jemtegaard Middle School is having a book fair in the library, 35300 S.E. Evergreen Blvd, through this Friday.

The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a family night on Thursday, which will run from 5 to 8 p.m.

There will be drawings throughout the night.
