CHS student collecting used musical instruments

Camas High School student Garrett Wilgus is collecting gently used musical instruments for his senior project.

Contributions will be donated to the Liberty Middle School instrumental music program.

“As a trombone player throughout middle and high school, I know the opportunities and experiences I have had richly added to my experiences as a student,” he said. “I want more students who might not be able to buy an instrument or even afford the monthly rental fees to be able to have music enrich their lives.”

Donations may be dropped off at the Liberty Middle School front office, 1612 N.E. Garfield St., between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during regular school days.

Those who donate will be given a tax receipt.

For more information, contact Wilgus at project-83@hotmail.com.
