A recent donation to the Washougal School District will help fund a beautification project at Washougal High School.

Lacamas Community Credit Union recently contributed $3,000 to the district as part of the credit union’s community partnership program. The money will be used to make several additions to the entrance to the school’s gymnasium, including a new brick inlayed “W,” sidewalks, benches and landscaping.

The community partnerships are a group of area organizations that benefit from LCCU’s fundraising efforts. Throughout the year, the credit union raises money for its community partnerships program through skip payment options, Entertainment Book sales and other efforts.
