Egg dishes and salads will be among the dishes prepared during an Easter brunch ideas cooking class.

There will also be “some easy to do pastries and yummy desserts,” according to Kelly Bruce, owner of K’Syrah Catering, Wine and Bistro, in downtown Camas.

The class “Beyond Deviled Eggs” will be taught by Bruce, Thursday, April 21. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. The cost to attend will be $40 per person. Bruce will pour sparkling wine from Italy and share brunch ideas, recipes, shortcuts and ways to plan ahead to make an Easter brunch fun.

Meanwhile, there will be a brunch served at K’Syrah on Easter Sunday, April 24. Seatings are available at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The cost to attend will be $25 per person. “Bottomless mimosas” will be available for an additional $5. The cost for children age 12 and younger will be $17.50.

The brunch will include omelets, pastries, biscuits and gravy, desserts, cinnamon rolls and a candy buffet.

“Each person will have their own little Easter basket, and they will go to the candy buffet and fill up their basket,” Bruce said. “Kids and adults love it.”
