Columbia Credit Union hires Michael Cochran

A former commercial loan officer is the vice president of business lending.

Michael Cochran, of Washougal, has been hired by Columbia Credit Union. His experience in the financial industry includes serving as a chief lending officer and branch manager.

Cochran’s new responsibilities include cultivating business loan and deposit relationships, marketing credit union products and services and assisting with commercial lending operations.

“Mike brings 33 years experience serving the local business community,” said Alan Ludlow, vice president and manager of the Columbia Credit Union business lending department. “We’re happy to have him join our team and offer members the benefits of his knowledge and expertise.”

Cochran has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.

“I am pleased to be part of Columbia Credit Union,” Cochran said. “It’s exciting to help small businesses grow and make a difference in the community.”
