Washougal City Council candidate forum is July 19

Primary election candidates seeking seats on the Washougal City Council have been invited to participate in an upcoming forum presented by the League of Women Voters of Clark County.

The event will be held Tuesday, July 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Washougal Community Center, 1701 “C” St. Doors open to the public at 5:45 p.m., and candidates will receive forum questions at 6 p.m.

Candidates include: Position 2, Caryn Plinski, George Kolin, Mike Moreau and Rodney P. Morris; Position 5, Mark Rohr, Niki Anderson and Jennifer McDaniel; and Position 7, Hugh Roberts, Molly Coston and Connie Jo Freeman.

A forum for Port of Camas-Washougal Commission Primary Election candidates will be scheduled at a later date.

The forum will be taped by CVTV and replayed on channels 21 and 23 multiple times prior to the Aug. 16 Primary Election.
