Burgerville to celebrate 50 years Saturday

Blazer Dancers and classic cars will make appearances in Camas

urgerville is marking its 50th birthday with events and activities at all of its local area restaurants. In Camas, the celebration will be held Saturday. Festivities are set to include reduced prices on some popular menu items.

Fans of Burgerville will be able to enjoy reduced prices for some of their favorite menu items, as part of a 50th birthday celebration.

A special “Heritage Menu” will include $.89 original hamburgers, $.99 original cheeseburgers, $1.49 double beef cheeseburgers, $.79 small fries, $.79 small drinks and $1.29 small strawberry, chocolate or vanilla milkshakes.

The festivities are set for Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Burgerville, located at 518 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

In addition to hourly giveaways, there will be classic cars shown from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A caricature artist and face painting will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. Birthday cake will be served at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m., and Blazer Dancers will make an appearance from 2 to 3 p.m.

Live music with Justin Linson and Kristin Lakin will be provided from 7 to 10 p.m., along with a 60’s cover songs costume contest.

Burgerville, which has grown to 39 locations, has 1,500 employees. The business opened its first restaurant in Vancouver.

Burgerville has donated in excess of $4 million to more than 22,000 charities.
