McPherson College announces honor roll

Chad Ediger has been named to the spring honorable mention roll at McPherson College in Kansas.

In order to be named to the honorable mention roll, students must earn at least a 3.25 GPA and be a full-time student.

Local students make dean’s list at Warner Pacific College

The following local students have been named to the dean’s list at Warner Pacific College. To be named to the list, students must have at least at 3.5 or greater GPA.

Camas students are: Justin Boedeker, Suzanne Downs, Tanya King, Thomas Kirk, Patricia Lusk, Tyson Miller, Tyber Parsons, Mariya Pustovit, Aaron Reyes and Adam Wilde.

Washougal students are: Darren Hergert, Danny Howard, James Kamerath, Jean Leary, Lance Lijewski and Rozalind Schlatter.

Exchange program seeks host families

Ayusa, a non-profit exchange program, is seeking host family volunteers to host foreign exchange students for the 2011-12 school year.

The students are ages 15 to 18 and come from more than 60 countries around the world. They come with their own spending money and health insurance, and have studied English for at least three years. For more information about hosting a student, call 888-552-9872 or browse www.ayusa.org.

Local students graduate from Marylhurst

Three local students have earned degrees from Marylhurst University.

They include:

Sylvia Dickinson of Camas, a master of business administration; Christine Martin of Camas, a bachelor of arts in cultural and historical studies; James Logan of Washougal, a master of business administration.

Commencement was held at the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday.
