A daughter has been born to Nikki Chernault of Camas and Jeff Halvorsen of Portland.
Dakota Nicole was born March 3, 2011, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland.
She weighed 4 pounds, 12 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Tom and Terri Krautscheid of Camas, and Kelly and the late Jeff Chernault of Portland.
Great-grandparents are John and Jean Krautscheid of Hillsboro, Ore., Ray and Connie Holland of Portland, and Darrell and Marie Haynes of Nehalem, Ore.
