Zack Marshall ignited the Camas offense with four touchdowns Friday, at Doc Harris Stadium.

The Camas High School football team raked Kennedy 48-14 Friday, at Doc Harris Stadium, to reach the state quarterfinals for the second year in a row.

Is this the year the Papermakers make it to the Tacoma Dome for the first time? We’ll all find out when Meadowdale comes to Doc Harris Stadium Friday or Saturday.

Tony Gennaro and Zack Marshall led the Camas offensive attack, with nine touchdowns between the two of them. Marshall made two touchdown catches and two touchdown runs. On top of his two TD passes to Marshall, Gennaro also connected with Jonathan Warner, Zach Eagle and John Payne in the end zone.

The Papermakers led 35-0 before Kennewick scored its first touchdown with 22.6 seconds left in the first half. Camas scored 13 more points in the third quarter to kick start the running clock.

For only the second time in school history, the Papermakers have an opportunity to play football in the Tacoma Dome. You don’t have to tell these guys how important this week of practice is.

You’ve heard the old saying, “win or go home?” Well for Camas, it’s going to be win or stay home.
