Chiropractic Care Center welcomes new staff member

The newest member of the staff at Chiropractic Care Center has a special interest in therapeutic massage.

Stephanie Love, a licensed massage practitioner, specialized in massage therapy at Everest College, in Vancouver.

Chiropractic Care Center is owned by Dr. Paul Scott, of Camas. He has been rehabilitating patients for 18 years. Scott is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College, in Portland.

Chiropractic Care Center offers chiropractic services, as well as FootMax computerized custom orthotics. It specializes in family care and rehabilitative care from motor vehicle accidents and worker’s injuries.

The clinic, which has treated professional athletes, provides specialized care for children, the elderly and expectant mothers.

Jett Burger Cafe will celebrate 20th anniversary

A variety of burgers and other specialties are on special this week during the 20th anniversary celebration at Jett Burger Cafe.

The buy-one, get-one free offers apply to small chicken and veggie bento plates, Wednesday; deluxe cheeseburgers, Thursday; and teriyaki cheeseburgers, Friday.

A sock hop is planned for Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Diners are encouraged to wear their favorite fashions of the 50s and 60s and enjoy listening to and singing karaoke hits from that era.

Prizes will be awarded, and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display. Jett Burger Cafe is located at 3531 S.E. Second Ave., Camas. For more information, call 335-1430.

Restaurant owners are invited to free strategy session

Owners and operators of restaurants in Camas, Washougal and throughout the area are welcome to attend the next session of a series designed for them.

The free event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m., at Wilfs Restaurant & Bar, 800 N.W. Sixth Ave., in Union Station, in Portland. Complementary food will be served.

Jeff Stay, a restaurant advisor from American Underwriters Insurance, will lead a walk-through of Wilfs as well as a discussion about tactics, strategies and checklists.
