Business Skamania Lodge was recently named a “Best of the West 2011,” winner by “Meetings Focus West” magazine.
The honor was bestowed based on a survey of meeting planners in the western United States, western Canada, and Mexico.
As one of the region’s “most outstanding choices for meetings,” the lodge located in Stevenson is one of two properties that made the list in Washington, and one of only five properties chosen in the Pacific Northwest.
According to the magazine, facilities were selected based on quality of meeting space, guest rooms, services and amenities, food and beverage service, and efficiency and helpfulness of staff, the availability of technical equipment, recreational facilities and activities, and overall value and experience.
The lodge’s conference center has 23 meeting rooms and more than 22,000 square foot of meeting, exhibition and banquet space.
