Sorensen named to EOU dean’s list

Stefani Sorensen of Camas has been named to the dean’s list at Eastern Oregon University.

To be named to the list, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA.

Students named to dean’s, president’s lists

The following students have been named to the dean’s and president’s lists at Gonzaga University.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA.

To be named to the president’s list, students must earn at least a 3.7 GPA.

Dean’s list: Meredith Hickman, Olivia Schuele and Emily Thomas of Camas, and Patrick McCarthy of Washougal.

President’s list: Jack Barett and Chase Thorson of Camas.

Roberts graduates from University of Kansas

Mitchel Ray Roberts of Washougal has earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Kansas.

His degree is in geography and history.

Bentley University names local student to honors list

Hannah Brotherton of Washougal has been named to the dean’s list at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.

To be named to the list, students must earn at least a 3.7 GPA.

CHS fashion show set

There will be a fashion show at the Camas High School Theatre, 26900 S.E. 15th St., at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 17.

Tickets are $4 per person. The show will feature clothing from Lily Atelier, Deja Vu Camas and Deja Vu Vancouver.

WSU sets Noche de Familia

Washington State University is hosting a “Noche de Familia” at 6 p.m. Thursday, in the Firstenburg Student Commons. This free event is open to the public. Dinner will be provided.

The event, which will be in Spanish, will include preparing for and paying for college, and common challenges. There will also be workshops

The middle school and high school workshops will include information on getting into and succeeding at college. WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. Free parking is available in Orange 2 lot.
