Bill and Dee (Williams) Nidick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family party on March 23.
The couple was married March 16, 1963, in Reno. Bill is retired after working as a tugboat captain with Tidewater Barge Lines for more than 20 years. Dee is retired after working as a homemaker and real estate agent. Bill is a die-hard Raiders fan and Dee is passionate about genealogy and scouring antique stores across the United States.
The couple has traveled the world together, including exotic locations such as Peru to navigate the Amazon River and Africa to spend time with the gorillas. They have visited 49 states, and hope to travel to Hawaii soon.
They have five children, Ronald Derrick of Santa Rosa, Calif., Ken Nidick of Camas; Scott Stormoen of Woodland, Wash., Beth Nelson of Washougal and Kimberly Drew of Vancouver; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
