Betty A. (Johnson) Scott

Betty Anna (Johnson) Scott died peacefully at her home in Camas Nov. 9, 2013.

A funeral service was held Nov. 15 at the Prune Hill LDS Church. Burial will be at the St. George Cemetery in St. George, Utah. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Cheryl Trent

Cheryl Trent lost her courageous fight with cancer Nov. 6, 2013. She fought long and hard with a dignity and a faith that is to be admired.

By Cheryl’s request, there will be no funeral. A celebration of life was held Nov. 18, at the Washburn Performing Arts Center in Washougal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a scholarship to be given to a WHS graduating senior in her name. Checks made payable to the Cheryl Trent Memorial Scholarship Fund are accepted at iQ Credit Union.

Kenneth P. Stovner

Kenneth Peter Stovner died Sept. 23, 2012.

There will be no public services. Private interment was held at the Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Danny Ray Baldwin

Danny Ray Baldwin, of Washougal, died Nov. 6, 2013.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m., at The Homestead, 2561 Belle Center Road in Washougal. Attendees should wear their favorite sports team jersey in honor of Danny’s love for sports.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Cancer Society.

Steven M. Hall

Steven Michael Hall died Nov. 6, 2013, alongside his best friend Mike Wolf in Donnelly, Idaho, on the way to their annual hunting trip. He was 54.

A celebration of life was held Nov. 17 at the McMenamins Edgefield Blackberry Hall in Troutdale, Ore.

Straub’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas was in charge of local arrangements.

John ‘Rusty’ Weber

John “Rusty” Weber died Nov. 8, 2013, in Vancouver. He was 63.

Daniel J. Lowther

Daniel James Lowther died Oct. 25, 2013, in Santee, Calif., of a sudden heart attack. He was 66.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego.

Zetta M. Gibson

Zetta Mignon Gibson, of Camas, died Nov. 14, 2013, in Longview, Wash. She was 88.

Shirley Mae McAtee

Shirley Mae McAtee died Nov. 12, 2013, at home in Washougal. She was 84.

A celebration of life potluck will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Washougal Eagles, 1910 Main St. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish and their favorite memories to share.
