Squeeze and Grind accepts food for Treasure House

Discounts are offered for donations

The owners of a local business that sells coffee, fruit smoothies and muffins is hoping to receive many food donations for the Inter-Faith Treasure house.

Squeeze & Grind owners Jeramy and Marcie Wilcox are accepting non-perishable food through Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Each customer who brings in a food donation will receive a $1 discount off of the price of a beverage.

The Treasure House, of Washougal, feeds approximately 2,000 people each month through several programs. They include monthly food boxes, USDA commodities, the Lost and Found Cafe and a program for children to take backpacks full of food home on weekends.

Squeeze & Grind, 537 N.E. Cedar St., Camas, is open Monday through Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 833-2404.
