Betty Lou Justice

Betty Lou Justice died peacefully Aug. 12, 2014, at Prestige Care Center in Camas. She was 80.

A celebration of Betty Lou’s life was held Aug. 16, at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Private inurnment was held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Mary Jane Kaminsky, of Washougal, died Aug. 1, 2014. She was 92.

Irene Barnes

Irene Barnes died Aug. 15, 2014 in Vancouver. She was 96.

She was born Aug. 14, 1918. At her request, there will be no services. Burial was private in Vacaville, Calif. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Donald A. Lund

Donald A. Lund, of Washougal, died Aug. 11, 2014. He was 79.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, from 1 to 5 p.m., at his son Don’s residence. Contact Don at (360) 513-7646 for the address. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Steve Haunreiter

Steve Haunreiter, of Camas, died Aug. 16, 2014. He was 70.

Marilyn Goodman

Marilyn Goodman, of Camas, died Aug. 15, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, following a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was 44.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m., at Wood Village Baptist Church, 23601 N.E. Arata Road, in Wood Village, OR 97060. A reception will follow. Attendees are asked to wear vibrant colors.

In addition, Marilyn’s work as program coordinator of the Camas Farmer’s Market will be honored Wednesday, Aug. 27, beginning at 5:45 p.m., at the market located in front of the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. A reception will follow at 6:45 p.m., at Journey Community Church, 304 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Attendees are asked to honor Marilyn’s life and work by wearing University of Oregon gear, green and/or yellow, as she was very fond of the Oregon Ducks.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and Southwest Washington, Children’s Home Society in Washougal, or the Camas Farmer’s Market.
