Westlie Ford recently donated $2,000 to the Jack, Will and Rob Boys and Girls Clubs in Camas. The donation will be used to support local families and children who face food insecurity.

Representatives from Westlie Ford in Washougal recently presented a $2,000 check to staff and youth at the Jack, Will and Rob Boys and Girls Club in Camas. Half of the grant was a gift from the Ford Fund and the other half provided by Westlie Ford.

Ford Motor Company Fund is donating $77,500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho, Montana and Alaska. The Ford Focus on Child Hunger campaign has donated more than $800,000 to date and provided more than one million meals to regional programs as part of the company’s work to address food access issues across the U.S.

“Westlie Ford is proud to partner again with Ford Motor Company to support the JWR Club in Camas,” said Don Jones, sales manager of Westlie Ford. “As the holiday season approaches, it is difficult to know that families are struggling. We hope this donation will help many local families enjoy some delicious holiday meals.”

The contribution will help provide food to local families.

“We are so very grateful to the Ford Motor Company for their steadfast support of the Portland Metro Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Erin Hubert, CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland. “No family should ever have to struggle with hunger, and that’s even more the case during a time of family and celebration at the holidays. Thanks to Ford, we’ll be able to make sure that Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland families enjoy a holiday meal.”
