The Washougal School District announced this morning that all of its schools will open two hours late Thursday, Nov. 20.

Krogstad/E.Miller, Old Jemtegaard, Ward/Martin roads are all on snow routes.

The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain warning for the western Columbia River Gorge through 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

“The accumulating ice will cause hazardous driving conditions though the Columbia River Gorge and in the Hood River Valley, including but not limited to Interstate 84, Washington state Route 14 and Oregon state Highway 35,” the warning reads.
