Two Skamania County residents were arrested late last week after an intensive nine month investigation into the trafficking of heroin and prescription medications.

According to a press release from Skamania County Undersheriff Dave Cox, Jared Hinzman, 25, of North Bonneville, was arrested and charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin), while and Katherine Gregory, 53, of Stevenson, was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (Marijuana) and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (prescription medication).

“This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests will be forthcoming in the next few weeks,” Cox said. “Countless hours were spent in the cities of North Bonneville and Stevenson, and the surrounding areas to finalize this investigation. We will continue to do whatever it takes to find these individuals that deal in narcotics and bring them before the courts.”
