Day spa provides hair, nail, skin services

An accomplished artist has opened a salon and day spa in downtown Camas.

Rebecca Trimble, a medical aesthetician, provides skin treatments and painting classes, at Urban Style.

The treatments include custom derma peels, facials, waxing services, spray tans and lash extensions.

The classes — including wine and painting for adults, and fruit juice and painting instruction for children — are held in a studio upstairs.

“We use every inch of this place,” Trimble said.

She has been painting for more than 20 years.

Trimble, 41, is the author of three “Rebecca’s Collections” books. They include Old World New England style and folk art projects, as well as paintings for Halloween and Christmas.

Trimble has also created instructional painting DVDs. The books and DVDs are available to purchase at Urban Style.

The art studio is available to use for birthday parties, private events and corporate retreats. Trimble can also provide art instruction off site “for those who don’t paint.”

“I love art, and I love watching others create their own masterpieces that they are happy with and even hang on their walls,” she said.

Trimble will offer a Valentine’s Day date night special, Friday, Feb. 14, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The couples class will involve two canvases that form one painting.

Trimble and her husband Tim opened Urban Style in October 2013. They have lived in Camas for 20 years.

There are four hairstylists, two nail technicians and one licensed massage practitioner.

“It is a full service salon and day spa,” Trimble said.

Services include manicures, pedicures, haircuts for men, women and children, hair coloring, perms, straightening and extensions.

Urban Style is a sponsor of the Downtown Camas Association First Friday events, which feature opportunities to shop and enjoy food samples and art viewing at businesses from 5 to 8 p.m.
