Margaret Ann Elliot Moors Adams died Oct. 13, 2014, in Washougal, after a short but valiant battle with cancer. She was 85.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Washougal. Vault interment will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Mary L. Burnett

Mary L. Burnett died Oct. 13, 2014. She was 90.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m., at the Fishers Grange Hall, 814 N.E.162nd Ave., Vancouver. Burial will be private at the Sifton Cemetery in Orchards. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia L. Jester

Virginia Lou Jester died Oct. 12, 2014. She was 87.

A celebration of Virginia’s life was held Oct. 20 at Brown’s Funeral Home. Burial was at Fern Prairie Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Meals on Wheels, or a charity of choice.

Robert C. Hitchcock

Robert C. Hitchcock died Oct. 18, 2014, at The Quarry in Fisher’s Landing. He was 99.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m., at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver. A reception will follow.

Theda Knight

Theda Knight, of Camas, died Oct. 19, 2014, at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. She was 95.

A celebration of Theda’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Mountainview House, 2647 N.W. Kent St., Camas. Private interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
