Area residents who enjoy playing bunco have a new place to play the games.

Bunco is held on the third Saturday of each month, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Local Girls Hawaiian Shave Ice & Grill, 3531 S.E. Second Ave., Camas.

The next event is scheduled for Jan. 17. The cost to play, $7 per person, includes two beverages and a small shave ice. Drink options include soda, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Gift certificates for free dinners will be awarded to the people with the most buncos and the most wins. The person with the most losses will receive a certificate for a small shave ice.

Dinners, such as teriyaki chicken or steak, Huli Huli chicken, Shoyu chicken, kalua pork and chicken Katsu, will be available to purchase.

The monthly gathering of dice game competitors had been played at Papa’s Ice Cream, until it closed in February 2013. The business that opened in that location in Washougal Town Square, 1700 Main St., Ste. 130, Wildflour Cafe and Cupcakes, then hosted bunco, before it moved to 3010 Evergreen Way, Washougal.
