Camas teen injured in Highway 14 collision

A Camas teenager is listed in satisfactory condition after being involved in a hit-and-run collision on Highway 14 Wednesday, March 4.

Just before 4 p.m., a white 2008 Ford F350 pickup truck was traveling east on state Route 14, turning north onto 32nd Street in Washougal, when it hit the left side of a green 1998 Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the driver of the Jeep Cherokee, Tanner J. Pfaff, 17, of Camas, lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled and came to a stop on its top in the westbound lane.

The Ford pickup fled the scene and was found abandoned a short time later.

The passenger in the Jeep Cherokee, Donnelle Bongoto, 17, was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver to be treated for her injures. Pfaff was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
