Business Businesses in downtown Camas are hoping shoppers will spend some of their money for holiday gifts along Northeast Fourth Avenue and surrounding areas.
The Downtown Camas Association is coordinating Little Box Friday and Golden Ticket events.
Little Box Friday will be held the day after Thanksgiving. Each participating merchant will have a box of coupons, specials and gifts for people to draw from.
Customers can enter to win a holiday basket and earn extra tickets for every $10 spent. Shoppers who bring receipts, totaling at least $75 from any downtown merchants, on Friday, to the Liberty Theatre, 315 N.E. Fourth Ave., can receive two free movie tickets.
The participating merchants include 4Ever Growing Kids, Arktana, Caffe Piccolo, Cake Happy, Camas Antiques, Lil’ Dudes and Divas, Lizzabeth A, Navidi’s, The Soap Chest and The Wild Hair.
The Golden Ticket event will start Friday and run through Friday, Dec. 18.
For every $25 spent at a participating merchant, a customer will receive a Golden Ticket that enters him or her to win a $50 gift certificate from that business.
