Leadership Clark County welcomes class of 2016

Leadership Clark County invites alumni, sponsors, supporters and the incoming class members’ employers and guests to a community reception Tuesday, Sept. 15 to welcome the class of 2016.

The reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Columbia Tech Center campus of Clark College, 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.

There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are requested by Sept. 9 to director@leadershipclarkcounty.com.

Leadership Clark County is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic leadership development program. Founded in 1993, participants are selected through a competitive application process and gain in-depth knowledge of the community and leadership skills that enable them to be more effective in their community involvement.

The nine-month program runs September through May, and is offered annually to individuals who live or work in Clark County.

More than 700 people have completed the program and serve the community as nonprofit board members and executive directors, civic group leaders, business leaders, entrepreneurs and elected officials.
