This month, the Young At Heart (YAH!) Senior Theatre Club presents its musical performance "Still Cruisin' Along ... A Tropical Holiday Tour.";

The stage at the Luepke Senior Center will be transformed into a cruise ship Sept. 10 and 11 when Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s 50 and Better Young At Heart (YAH!) Senior Theatre Club presents its musical performance “Still Cruisin’ Along … A Tropical Holiday Tour.”

The YAH! Senior Theatre Club stays young at heart through music and dance and has staged different public productions each year at the Luepke Senior Center. This year, the audience will be taken on a tropical holiday tour, featuring the popular songs “Sea Cruise,” “Jamaica Farewell,” “Bali Ha’i,” “Rum and Coca Cola” and many more.

“Still Cruisin’ Along … A Tropical Holiday Tour” will have three public performances at the Luepke Senior Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd. in Vancouver: 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10; 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11; and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.

Admission is $5 per person, except for the 10:30 a.m. show on Friday, Sept. 11, which is free. YAH! will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win gift baskets at the performances for $1 each or six for $5.

The 50 and Better YAH! Senior Theatre Club is open to all theatre, song and dance lovers over the age of 50. The club meets once a week from early June to late August at the Luepke Senior Center and holds a public performance at the end of each summer.
