Waste Connections exec brings ‘experience and passion’

Campbell joins contractors association board

A Waste Connections executive recently joined the Southwest Washington Contractors Association board of directors.

Scott Campbell moved to Vancouver in 1985 and has worked for Waste Connections, Inc., for more than 22 years. He currently serves as the governmental and community affairs manager. He also has 12 years’ experience in industrial construction management.

“We are thrilled to have Scott join the SWCA leadership team,” said Executive Director Darcy Altizer. “Scott’s wide range of experience and passion for our community are perfectly aligned with the SWCA mission and long-term vision.”

This mission includes strengthening the workforce pipeline, training and educating future generations of leaders, and investing in community infrastructure in Southwest Washington.

The SWCA is an organization of commercial construction professionals located in Vancouver. It is comprised of general contractors, specialty contractors, engineers, architects and services companies supportive of the industry.
