Name of motorcyclist in collision is released

The name of a Vancouver man involved in a fatal motorcyclist accident has been released.
Thomas J. Andersen, 65, was traveling westbound Sunday night on the 4700 block of Northwest Lake Road when his motorcycle veered to the left for unknown reasons and impacted a cement curb.
Camas police and Camas-Washougal fire units were dispatched at approximately 9:40 p.m. The collision caused the helmeted rider to be thrown from the motorcycle. There were no additional passengers and no other cars involved.
Andersen was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The Clark County Sheriff Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is assisting the Camas Police Department with the accident investigation.
