Contractors association welcomes board members

They include Jerry Sauer and Drew Barrett

Two local businessmen are among the new board members of the Southwest Washington Contractors Association.

Jerry Sauer and Drew Barrett have been elected to serve.

Sauer is an owner of Excavator Rental Services LLC, and Your Party & Event Center, both in Camas.

Barrett is the business development manager of Barrett & Co. Certified Public Accountants, also of Camas.

The other new board members are Shane Tapani, vice president of Tapani Inc.; Jared Currie, controller of Anchor Concrete; and George Schmidt, vice president of 3 Kings Environmental Inc.

“I’m very excited about these great additions to the board of directors,” SWCA Executive Director Darcy Altizer said in a press release. “They each bring a unique perspective and construction expertise that will support the SWCA in expanding our understanding of the industry, resources for our members and footprint in economic development throughout Southwest Washington.”

Bryce Sinner, corporate counsel for Stellar J Corporation, has been named the SWCA board president.

The Southwest Washington Contractors Association, created in 1947, is comprised of general and specialty contractors, engineers, architects and service companies that are supportive of the construction industry. It is a resource for commercial construction professionals.
