The Washougal City Council will have an opportunity in December to approve development agreements that would result in the addition of more than 400 houses in the city.

Approval of the “North Twenty” development would allow for approximately 282 homes on 100 acres in the vicinity of Woodburn Elementary School.

The land, owned by Ray’s Acres LLC, is east of Crown Road, south of Southeast 23rd Street and north of the Lookout Ridge neighborhood. It is located in the Camas School District.

“Granite Three” is a proposed development of 135 lots on 58 acres, east of the existing Granite Highlands and north of “T” Street. The property, owned by Granite Three LLC, is located on the former LeBrun quarry in the Washougal School District.

Public hearings on the two development agreements are scheduled to occur during the council meeting Monday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m., in the council chambers at City Hall, 1701 “C” St.
