Patricia Dee Cullin

The story of two beautiful people, Patricia Dee Cullen, 54, and Duane William Andrews, 56, began with the marriage of Harold Andrews and Judy Ammeter-Andrews. Patricia was born on March 17, 1962, and Duane was born September 25, 1960.

Patricia, aka Patti, passed way peacefully in her sleep on March 15, 2017. Duane followed his sister on April 1, 2017, also passing away peacefully in his sleep.

Both siblings were born in Vancouver, grew up and went to school in Camas and Washougal. Duane also attended four years of high school in Hailey, ID. Patti went on to earn her bachelors degree at Evergreen State College and worked as a child enforcement officer. Duane was an exceptional HVAC installer, beginning his work carrier under the tutelage of his father’s watchful eye. Most recently, Duane worked at Temp Control for 10 years and then went on to Blairco Heating for the recent 15 years.

Patti is survived by her husband, Aaron Cullen. The children of Patti and Duane are Clark County residents. Patti is survived by two daughters and one son; Amber Hall, Kelsey McCray and Alex McCray. She has six grandchildren.

Duane is survived by two daughters, Brianne Ramseyer-Andrews and Brooke Andrews. Duane has three grandchildren. Both Patti and Duane found great joy and participated in the lives of their grandchildren.
Duane and Patti are also survived by their parents, Judy Ammeter-Andrews, who continues her life in Washougal, while Harold Andrews lives and continues his life in Hailey.

Patti enjoyed spending time at the Oregon coast at Netarts with family and friends. Duane was also active; he enjoyed fishing, biking, skiing, hiking and camping. Both spent many a wonderful summer growing up at Gleneden Beach, Oregon, with their grandmother.

There will be a celebration of their lives on Sunday, June 11, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Hathaway Park Pavilion, 799 25th St., Washougal, WA 98671. Please bring a story or memories and your own chair. There will be BBQ’d hamburgers and chips. If you would like to bring a dish to share, it would be welcome.

Kathleen ‘Kathy’ M. (Davis) Bogert

Kathleen “Kathy” Marie (Davis) Bogert died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was 77.

Kathy requested a “get-together” at her home to celebrate her life at noon on Saturday, April 29.

Michael L. Holmes

Michael Lawrence Holmes died Sunday, April 9, 2017, from cancer. He was 55.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18300 N.E. 18th St., Vancouver. Interment follows at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas.

Esther M. ‘Millie’ Kirkpatrick

Esther Millicent “Millie” Kirkpatrick died on Monday, April 10, 2017, in Vancouver. She was 96.

Gerald (Jerry) P. Duley

Gerald (Jerry) Patton Duley died on Monday, April 10, 2017. He was 70.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 6, at Grace Foursquare Church in Camas with a reception to follow. Straub’s Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Floyd A. Lund

Floyd A. Lund died at his Washougal home on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was 83. He was born Oct. 27, 1933, in Los Angeles.

Privates services will be held at a later date. A complete obituary will be in next week’s paper. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.

Woo Hyang Nam

Woo Hyang Nam died Tuesday, April 17, 2017. He was 61. He was born July 25, 1955, in Seoul, South Korea.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 20, at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will be at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Hazel Heller

Hazel Heller, of Washougal, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.

A private service will be held at a later date. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Dianna J. Yazzolino

Dianna J. Yazzolino died Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was 86. She was born July 28, 1930, in Portland.
