Washougal plans an eclipse viewing event

The City of Washougal invites people to watch the eclipse from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, in Reflection Plaza, 1703 Main St.

City Communications Specialist Michele Loftus Eclipse said eclipse glasses will be provided to the first 100 people who show up. She is encouraging people to bring their own chairs.

The event is free and open to the public.
