WorkSource fair will include information for job seekers

People interested in technology or manufacturing jobs are invited to attend a WorkSource fair.

Information about free job training programs will be provided Thursday, Feb. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. at WorkSource, 204 S.E. Stonemill Drive, Ste. 215, Vancouver.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to discover the skills that companies are seeking in new employees.

Representatives from Clark College, Lower Columbia College, New Horizons, Charter College, Tech Academy, Soldering.biz and other education and training organizations will be available to discuss their programs. Attendees can learn about scholarships and free job and employment services offered at WorkSource.

Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and dress in business casual clothing. Computers are available at WorkSource for individuals who need to create a resume.

WorkSource is a partnership of state agencies, local service providers, colleges and community organizations that provide free employment and training services to employers and job seekers.
