Female care goods sought for ‘Every 28 Days’ drive

Items will go to Share's Housing, Transition program

Tampons and sanitary pads for homeless women are accepted in the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce office.

Feminine hygiene items can be dropped off in a pastel pink trash can provided by Waste Connections. The chamber office is located at 422 N.E. Fourth Ave.

Donations will be picked up Monday, Feb. 27, The items will be provided to women who are helped by Share’s Housing and Transition program.

A “Period Party” will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Garage Bar & Grille, 1101 W. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Donations can be made at that event. There will be food, raffle prizes and auction items.
