Heritage couldn’t withstand the Camas locomotive Thursday, at Doc Harris Stadium. Drake Owen was the conductor to a 63-13 victory for the Papermakers.

The Camas High School senior caught a 76-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kyle Allen. Owen also shook off a defender and returned a punt for a 60-yard touchdown. He then tied up three more Timberwolves after catching a pass from Allen and took off for a 28-yard touchdown.

The Papermakers kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Night with an 83-yard touchdown drive. Will Schultz carried the ball across the goal line after Owen completed a 38-yard catch and run. Camas got the ball right back on the 2-yard line, and Semisi Schultz took it into the end zone for a touchdown.

After two theatrical touchdowns by Owen, Semisi Schultz forced a fumble, Ryan Rushall picked up the football and took it 25-yards back into the end zone for a touchdown to give Camas a 35-0 lead in the first quarter.

Will Schultz scored his second touchdown of the game, following a Heritage fumble. Owen then delivered his third touchdown to put the Papermakers up by 49. A 60-yard interception return by Trevor Bentley set up one more touchdown for Camas in the first half. Although the Papermakers fumbled the ball in the end zone, Carter Kinkead recovered it to give Camas six more points.

A 56-0 lead by the Papermakers at halftime started up the running clock in the third quarter. Heritage scored two touchdowns in the second half. Camas scored one more touchdown in the fourth quarter on a run by Aaron Brown.
