Leland C. Berry

Leland C. Berry died on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, in Washougal. He was 94. Leland was born on July 21, 1923, in Topeka, Kansas. He was a Camas-Washougal resident for more than 80 years.

A celebration of life service was held on Sunday, Sept. 10. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org/donate.

Jim Ebacher

Jim Ebacher died on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at home. He was 62. Jim was the beloved husband of Pat, and they recently celebrated 40 happy years of marriage together.

The funeral service took place on Friday, Sept. 8, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver. His remains will be placed in Holy Cross Cemetery on a future date.

Burton W. Hedges Jr.

Burton W. Hedges Jr. died in his sleep with his family by his side on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. He was 76. Burt was born to Burton and Clela Hedges on Oct. 6, 1940, in Cashmere, Washington. He was a lifelong resident of Camas after his family moved here in 1948.

A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Camas-Washougal Wildlife League, 811 S.E. Leadbetter Road, Camas.

David L. Wedgworth

David Leroy Wedgworth died on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, in Kyle, Texas. He was 73. David was born on May 7, 1944, in Pomona, California, to Lois Ellen and John Lamar Wedgworth.

A funeral service for Dave was held on Saturday, Sept. 9. A memorial service will be held in Washington in late September.

Sherril Allen

Sherril Allen, of Camas, died on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017. She was 64. Sherril was born on July 11, 1953, in Rockford, Illinois. Services are pending at this time. Stella I. Kaldenberg

Stella Ida Kaldenberg died on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, in Washougal. She was 100. Stella was born to Ernst and Helen (Last) Kibbel in Port Washington, Wisconsin, on June 6, 1917. She had been a Camas-Washougal resident since 1931.

Alison Love

Alison Love died on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, in Camas. She was 73. Alison was born to Emery and Aleene Love on March 18, 1944, in Portland. She was a Camas resident for 15 years.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at Unity Church of Portland, 4525 S.E. Stark St., Portland.

Rudolph Metzner
