News, News A Camas man has been arrested for commercial sexual solicitation, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Richard T. Green, 48, was one of 18 men arrested Feb. 28, by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon and other area law enforcement partners. The other arrested men ranged in age from 20 to 75.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Portland Police Bureau’s Sex Trafficking Unit, the Forest Grove Police Department, the Hillsboro Police Department and the Washington County District Attorney’s Office conducted the proactive mission that is intended to break a link in the chain of human trafficking by enforcing state and federal laws and developing intelligence on anyone trafficking victims in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office thanks area hotels that have provided resources and assistance for those missions.
