John “Buzz” Nelson, an elder in the Ogalla Sioux tribe, was among the speakers at the Pendleton Woolen Mill centennial ceremony Friday morning. Nelson, a Korean War veteran, said a Lakota prayer. He was later presented with a Pendleton blanket.
