Charlie Bishop, vice president of mill operations at Pendleton, presented Washougal Mayor Sean Guard with a ceremonial robe. “It is for important events of achievement and thanks to the community,” Bishop said. Earlier, Guard proclaimed Aug. 3 to be “Pendleton Woolen Mill Day.”
