A view of a boat that was next to the one that burned Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the Port of Camas-Washougal marina. Port employees have set up an absorbent boom in the Columbia River to catch any contaminants. Port of C-W Facilities Manager Jeramy Wilcox said some oil or fuel, from the burnt boat, has been cleaned from the boat launch ramp. The Camas-Washougal Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that destroyed a boat in the Port of Camas-Washougal marina Tuesday evening.
Camas-Washougal Fire crews, along with East County Fire and Rescue firefighters and a Vancouver Fire Department boat, responded to the fire around 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 26.
