LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Camas Public Library: Saturday Adult Craft-O-Rama will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6. Author Ellie Alexander will be at the library Thursday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. Page Turners, for fourth through sixth graders and their adult, is held on the first Tuesday of the month, at 6:30 p.m., October through May, at Lacamas Lake Lodge, 277 N.E. Lake Road. Galactic Alliance, for teens in middle and high school, meets at 4:30 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month, from September to April. The Crochet Club meets every Thursday, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., in the teen room. The English Conversation Group meets Tuesdays, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Teen Zine Zone meets the first Wednesday of the month, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Story Explorers meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., from October through May. Enspire Arts: Tango & Tapas is the theme for Enspire Arts first-ever celebration gala. The event will be Saturday, Oct. 13, from 7 to 10 p.m., at Black Pearl on the Columbia, 56 S. Second Story Gallery: Throughout the month of October, the mixed media art of Carolyn Gunderson and friends will be on display. The gallery, located at 625 N.E. SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Camas Senior Center: A day trip is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 30, to Little Creek Casino in Shelton, Washington. The bus will depart at 7 a.m., and there is a $5 fee. The Camas seniors’ monthly casino trip will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, Washington. The cost is $5. Washougal Senior Center: The Washougal Senior Center provides coffee from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Meals on Wheels serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. On Mondays, at 11 a.m., the center hosts a food bank. At 1 p.m. each Monday, there is a “hand and foot” clinic. At 10 a.m., on Mondays and Wednesdays, the center hosts an exercise class, which also is held in Camas at 10 a.m. on Fridays. Billiards is played at 1 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays. At 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, the center hosts “Music with Jeffree,” and at 11 a.m. on Thursdays, “Music with Gabe.” The watercolor class is held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays, there is an exercise class at 10 a.m., gift bingo at 11 a.m., and regular bingo at 1 p.m. On Thursdays, the tai chi class (held in Camas) begins at 9:30 a.m. The center also hosts pinochle at 1 p.m. on Thursdays.

VOLUNTEERS

Lost and Found Cafe: Meals are served to the community at 6 p.m., each Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church social hall, 824 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Volunteer cooks are needed. For more information, call Inter-Faith Treasure House Executive Director Nancy Wilson at 360-834-4181.

Two Rivers Heritage Museum: The museum is seeking volunteer docents for four-hour shifts to welcome guests and provide museum tours, as well as a social media manager and board secretary. For more information, contact Lois at 360-835-5449. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., throughout the month of October. Jazzercise Camas: Individuals are invited to try Jazzercise at no cost at Virtuosity Performing Arts Studio, 240 N.E. Third Ave., Camas. MISCELLANEOUS

Knights of Columbus: The organization will be delivering its annual Thanksgiving dinner for seniors, shut-ins and others in need on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 22. For those who may need a meal delivered, call the Treasure House at 360-834-4181, Al at 360-835-5346 or East County Family Resource at 360-835-7802. Monetary donations to the Camas-Washougal Thanksgiving Dinner Fund are accepted at either Riverview Community Bank in Camas or Washougal.
