The Camas High School Class of 2011 included eight valedictorians and two salutatorians. It was the largest number of 4.0 grade-point-average students in CHS history.

CHS valedictorians mentioned some of the highlights of living in Camas. They included Top Burger and Lacamas Lake. "Some of us have been a part of the Camas community since we were in kindergarten," said Lisa Nicholson. "Others even have parents or grandparents who went to Camas schools. Some of us just moved here this year. Next year, many of us will be going somewhere new and different. But we will always know that when we smell the mill, we are home."

After CHS graduates moved the tassels on their caps from right to left, each student donned a pair of sunglasses and danced to Forever, by Chris Brown. At the songs conclusion, many of the graduates threw their caps into the air at Doc Harris Stadium.
