Dwain E. Mills

Dwain E. Mills died on Thursday, Oct. 5, in Corvallis, Oregon. He was 78. Dwain was born in Camas on Jan. 13, 1939. He was a Camas-Washougal resident for more than 20 years.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14, at South Albany Community Church, 2418 S.E. Geary St., Albany, Oregon. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home (www.aasum-dufour.com) in Albany is charge of arrangements.

Arthur Lee Stephenson Jr.

Arthur Lee Stephenson Jr. died on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Columbia Ridge Senior Living in Washougal. He was 98. Art was born on Oct. 11, 1918, in Haddonfield, New Jersey. He was a retired architect. Art was a Camas-Washougal resident for six years.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, at Columbia Ridge Senior Living, 2300 W. Ninth St., Washougal.

Gheorghe Dragos

Gheorghe Dragos died on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017. He was 65. Gheorge was born on Feb. 27, 1952, in Sighisoara, Romania. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Portland. Burial was at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.

Thelma Louise Sampson

Thelma Louise Sampson died on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in Vancouver. She was 102. Thelma was born to Fred and Lillie (Samuelson) Armstrong on Feb. 9, 1915, in North Platte, Nebraska. She was a Clark County resident for 80 years.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 16, at Bethel Community Church, 1438 “B” St., Washougal. Interment will be held at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Sign Thelma’s guestbook at www.brownsfh.com.
