Dorothy L. Franklin

The Reverend Dorothy Lee Franklin died May 31, 2018, in Hood River, Oregon. She was 84.

A memorial service and reception celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 2 p.m., at Riverside Community Church in Hood River, and her ashes will be spread at Government Mineral Springs, Carson, Washington, a site cherished by Dorothy throughout her life.

Bonnie J. (Hathaway) Steinmeyer

Bonnie Jean (Hathaway) Steinmeyer died Saturday, July 21, 2018, in her Nampa, Idaho, home. She was 80.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at Gateway Church in Kennewick, Washington.

David P. Scott

David Perry Scott, of Camas, died July 23, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 79.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the memorial service, officiated by Ron Higgins, on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon, at Church of Christ, 16401 N.E. 182nd Ave., Brush Prairie, Washington.

Scott A. Collins

Scott Alan Collins died on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was 51.

Elaine J. Hull

Elaine Jeanne Hull died on Friday, July 27, 2018. She was 41.

A celebration of life service will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Vancouver Stake Center, 10509 S.E. Fifth St., Vancouver. Burial will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery. Those who wish may make a donation to the Children’s Education Fund, contact family for more information.

Ferne M. (Bottemiller) Laedtke

Ferne M. (Bottemiller) Laedtke died Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was 86.

René A. Parent

René André Parent died in his sleep May 21, 2018, in Montreal, Canada. He was 87.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at noon, Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 324 N.E. Oak St., Camas, with a scriptural rosary to be said at 11 a.m. Interment at Camas Cemetery will follow. The Aquinas women’s guild will provide refreshments afterward in the hall.

Cliffton P. Allen

Cliffton Paul Allen died on July 21, 2018. He was 71.

Trudi Cotterman

Trudi Cotterman died on Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Washougal. She was 67.  Trudi was born Feb. 18, 1951, in Coos Bay, Oregon.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the Rehoboth Messianic Congregation, in Vancouver. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
