This original "La Center Bottoms" oil painting by artist Jim Gola, which measures 34-by-36 inches, is being auctioned off to benefit the nonprofit Second Story Gallery at the Camas Public Library in downtown Camas. The painting is on display as part of the current, two-month show by Northwest Oil Painters Guild members, which runs through September. The gallery will take silent bids for the painting until 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31. Camas Public Library: Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 23 , and Tuesday, Aug. 27. Slavic storytime (in Russian and Ukrainian) will begin at 10:15 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26. Korean storytime will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26. Tiny Tots Storytime will be held at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28. Baby Storytime will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 29. Teens and adults ages 13 and older can try the virtual reality Oculus Rift or Oculus Go at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28, and at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29. Wells Fargo Museum will present Kids $ense, a program about how money moves around the community today and in the past, for school-age children, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27. Make Me, a drop-in craft opportunity for students in grades 6-12, will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27. An introductory workshop on mindfulness with guided meditation will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28. Learn about Bollywood dancing, henna art and Indian culture from 2 to 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29. ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS
