ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS

Attic Gallery: The gallery will host “The Hamiltons,” an exhibit honoring the late Portland artists Satsuko and George Hamilton, parents of artist Earl Hamilton, through March. The gallery is located at 421 N.E. Cedar St., Camas. For more information, visit atticgallery.com or call 360-833-9747.

Second Story Gallery: The gallery will feature a fabric art exhibit by the Art Quilt Group with the theme “Four Square & Beyond,” through March. CLUBS AND GROUPS

Community Garden Club of Camas-Washougal: The group meets at 1 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Camas Community Center, 1718 S.E. Seventh St., Camas. For more information, call 360-834-3003 or visit gardenclubofcamaswashougal.org.

General Federation of Women’s Clubs Camas-Washougal: The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m., at the Camas Police Department, 2100 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

Camas Group Recovery: The group meets from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sundays at Camas Friends Church, 1004 N.E. Ione St.

Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.

NatureScaping: The Beginning Bird Feeding — How to Attract Wild Birds workshop has been canceled for Saturday, March 21. This will include all other activities and classes at the CASEE Center and hosted by NatureScaping until further notice.

Clark-Skamania Flyfishers: The group is holding its annual dinner and fundraising banquet at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver Saturday, March 28. The cost is $70. For more information or to register, call 503-522-4215.

SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by the Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Washougal Senior Center: Meals on Wheels provides coffee from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and serves lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. The center hosts a food bank at 11 a.m. on Mondays. Activities offered during the week include: cribbage, bingo, bunco, pinochle, billiards, watercolor painting and exercise classes. A breakfast fundraiser, to support Washougal Community Center activities, is held on the last Friday of each month (except November and December) from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5. A potluck is held on the first Friday of each month. Refuel Friday, sponsored by local churches and nonprofits, is offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday. SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together): Activities and meetings have been canceled for March and April because of the COVID-19 virus. For more information, call 564-397-3380.

CLASSES

Camas Parks and Recreation Winter Classes: All indoor programs have been cancelled effective now until Thursday, April 30. Women’s Self Defense: Camas Parks and Recreation will host a women’s self-defense class, taught by Camas Tai Chi & Kung Fu instructor Sifu Paco, from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 21, at Lacamas Lake Lodge, 227 N.E. Lake Road, Camas. The class is for ages 16 and older, or for ages 13 to 15 with an adult. The class is free, with a suggested cash donation to benefit Soroptimists International of Camas-Washougal. Participants will learn how to be physically and verbally assertive, basic self-defense skills, increased awareness and how to not be a victim. All fitness levels are welcome and participants should dress in stretchy, comfortable clothes. To pre-register, which is required, visit register.cityofcamas.us or call 360-834-5307.

Lacamas Athletic Club: On the first Friday of each month, non-members can visit Lacamas Athletic Club, 2950 N.W. 38th Ave., Camas, free of charge. The gym offers classes, a cardio room and a weight room. For more information, call Karen at 360-834-8506.
