CHS girls excel at Holiday Hoops exhibition

Teague Schroeder scored 15 of her team-leading 17 points in the fourth quarter to help the Camas girls beat Benson Tech 56-39 Monday, in the Holiday Hoops finale at Evergreen High School. The sophomore racked up 50 points in three games.

A shorthanded Camas High School girls basketball squad still won all three of its games at the Evergreen Holiday Hoops festival.

With seniors Nikki Corbett and Rachel Gray sidelined by injuries, sophomore Teague Schroeder and freshmen Courtney Clemmer and Madison Freemon took advantage of extra playing time.
